Justice Sector Coordination Office (JSCO

The Justice Sector Coordination Office (JSCO) was set up in June 2007 by the Government of Sierra Leone (GoSL) to serve as the main outfit for the coordination of reforms in the Justice Sector. Its formation is steeped in a post-war reconstruction agenda, in which the need for a coordinated approach to reform of justice delivery institutions was among others prioritized as the main means of ensuring that the gains of political stability after the civil war are complemented by institutional reforms that seek to strengthen democratic good governance.
